As an adult Gwen did a lot of dating. She wanted to find the "perfect guy" so she wouldn't be like her father who married the wrong woman before finding his soul mate. The man in the picture is Alan, one of five different guys Gwen dated (luckily not all at once)
And then there was Rodrigo. He was the bartender at the local dance club. Gwen immediately fell in love with his sexy Spanish accent and romantic style. They went on many dates before they decided to get married. Gwen was certain that Rodrigo was "the one", and Rodrigo was head over heels in love with Gwen. The wedding was big. It had to be with Gwen being a star. Rodrigo soon learned that nothing was small when it came to Gwen.
Nina moved out after the wedding. She claimed that she didn't want to be in the way. Gwen tried to insist that she stay, but Nina was stubborn and moved in with her estranged sister and ex-nemesis Misty. It was strange seeing the two of them get along, but after Keith's death they didn't seem to mind each other anymore.
Rodrigo brought his purebred Maine Coon named Gremlin. He was a huge furry cat who shed everywhere and got into, onto, and under everything. Luckily him and Gwen hit it off and quickly became friends.
Somehow Rodrigo convinced Gwen that they needed a second cat, one to breed with Gremlin. He promised that there was good money in selling purebred Maine Coon kittens, and that it would be his project. That was how Mura joined the family. She was just as big as Gremlin, but was a bit more friendly and very very smart. Her and Gremlin instantly started playing together and soon Mura was expecting kittens.
Gwen and Rodrigo spend many happy years together. Gwen was almost where she wanted to be in her career, and Rodrigo was happy with his gardening/cat breeding business. One sunny afternoon, lounging around in the hot tub they got to talking about having kids. Both expressed their desire to have them, and so they decided to start trying. It didn't take long before Gwen was pregnant and on maternity leave. They were both excited and read everything they could about being parents, but nothing could prepare them for the big surprise. TWINS. Two girls, one they named Hannah and the other Evelyn. While it was a shock at first, they quickly decided this was a good thing.
